The profits of “Al-Amar” decline to 115.3 million riyals in 2022… and a recommendation to distribute 10% cash dividends

The net profit of the “Alamar Food” company decreased by 1.83% in 2022, to about 115.26 million riyals after zakat and tax, compared to about 117.4 million riyals in 2021.

The company said in a statement on “Tadawul Saudi Arabia”, today, Sunday, that the decline in net profits during 2022, on an annual basis, was due to it being significantly affected by the expense of the employee shares program issued in the year 2022 in conjunction with the general listing of the group, by an amount of 16.0 million riyals.

In a related context, the company announced the recommendation of the Board of Directors to distribute cash dividends for the fourth quarter of the year 2022, at a rate of 10%.

And she explained in a statement that the value of the dividends amounted to 25.24 million riyals, distributed over 25.24 million shares, and the share per share from the distribution amounted to 1 riyal.

She added that the eligibility for profits will be for the company’s shareholders who own shares at the end of trading on Monday, April 3, 2023 AD, and who are registered in the shareholders’ register at the Securities Depository Center “Edaa” at the end of the second trading day following the maturity date.

She indicated that the distribution will be on April 13, 2023.
