Total Energies expands its partnership with Sonatrach

The Algerian Sonatrach group signed a memorandum of understanding with Total Energies with the aim of strengthening their partnership and expanding areas of cooperation between them, especially in the Timimoun region in Algeria.

The complex said in a statement that the memorandum aims to “evaluate and develop fuel resources in the northeastern region of Timimoun, based on the existing processing facilities in the region.”

The statement added that among the objectives of the memorandum is also “to establish cooperation frameworks between the two parties for the purpose of concluding a hydrocarbon contract in the area of ​​specific interest, in light of Law No. 19-13 regulating hydrocarbon activities.” (Sky News)
