Without American approval, Israel will soon invade Rafah

Western and Hebrew media reports stated; The occupation army has put its forces on alert, while some movements on the ground indicate the approaching operation in what the Israelis describe as “the last stronghold of Hamas” in Rafah.

The American Al-Hurra website quoted analyst Joab Stern: There is information in recent days about preparations through the repositioning of units around the Gaza Strip, and the progress of recruiting reserve soldiers for the army.

For its part, the US administration denied reports that Washington “approved Israel’s plan to attack Rafah,” which includes about 1.5 million displaced Palestinians, in exchange for it not launching a comprehensive attack on Iran.

An Israeli government spokeswoman announced, on Thursday, that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has set a date to enter the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, stressing that the Israeli army is determined to enter it.

The Hebrew “Wala” website said: The “Israeli Army” has raised the state of alert in its ranks, in preparation for the expected ground invasion of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

The website noted in its report that the main operational plan had been approved by the General Staff of the occupation army and the Minister of War, Yoav Galant, and was presented to the War Council for approval.

According to the plan, in the first phase, forces from the occupation army will attack the active cells in the northern and central Gaza Strip, while directing artillery forces, armored personnel carriers, mobile war rooms, headquarters and armored vehicles to the Gaza Division area, with the 162nd Division expanding its deployment in the central region to create Operational opportunities.
